Hola de nuevo. Estamos casi seguros que muchos de ustedes concerán la celebraciòn del Día de Acción de Gracias que se celebra en Estados Unidos a finales de noviembre, pero ¿alguno de ustedes conoce el "Remembrance Sunday"?

In the United Kingdom, Remembrance Sunday is the second Sunday of November, the Sunday nearest to 11 November (Remembrance Day), which is the anniversary of the end of the hostilities of the First World War at 11 a.m. in 1918.
In the United Kingdom, Remembrance Sunday is marked by ceremonies at local war memorials in most cities, towns and villages, attended by civic dignitaries, ex-servicemen and women, members of local armed forces regular and reserve units Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. Wreaths of poppies are laid on the memorials and two-minutes' silence is held at 11 a.m. Church bells are usually rung 'half muffled', creating a sombre effect. (www.wikipedia.com)
